After dropping for three straight weeks, Silicon Graphics (nyse: SGI – news – people ) shares shot up 23.5% last week. Shares surged after the advanced graphics computer maker said May 24 it will offer 10-gigabit Ethernet connectivity speeds to process massive data files more quickly.
